Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteering can be very rewarding and a great way of meeting new people and learning new skills. There are a vast array of roles supporting and surrounding sport that without which would not be able to function.

Opportunities are available across Cheshire East to volunteer with all ages of people in a variety of settings, such as childrens centres, community centres, estates, parks and schools. No previous experience of volunteering is needed. All we asked for is your enthusiasm, energy, commitment and interest in leisure, play or sport. For further details contact a member of the team on 01625504591 or by e-mailing sports@cheshireeast.gov.uk.

Midnight Walk

Dear Friends
Care for our Future: Sign up today for East Cheshire Hospice’s Midnight Walk 2009.
Last September, over 500 friends, many decked out in the most amazing fancy dress, responded to our Caring for our Future appeal and took part in our 2008 Midnight Walk. Together we raised a gigantic £72,000 for the hospice. It was a great night for everyone and wonderful to see hundreds of glow sticks, torches and flashing
bunny-ears bobbing along the 10k route.
