Care for our Future: Sign up today for East Cheshire Hospice’s Midnight Walk 2009.
Last September, over 500 friends, many decked out in the most amazing fancy dress, responded to our Caring for our Future appeal and took part in our 2008 Midnight Walk. Together we raised a gigantic £72,000 for the hospice. It was a great night for everyone and wonderful to see hundreds of glow sticks, torches and flashing
bunny-ears bobbing along the 10k route.

YOUTH FISHING COMPETITION SUMMER 2009

The combined emergency services have once again come together to organise the summer 2009 Youth Fishing Competition.

PLAY DAY WEEK 2009

As part of the summer programme, Cheshire East in partnership with the local Friends of the Park groups have organised a number of Play Days across the Macclesfield district.

Key Dates for Macclesfield

Monday 3rd August - South Park Play Day 10-12noon.

Wednesday 5th August - Bollington Play Day (Rec. Ground) 10-12noon.

The sport and play team will be in the Macclesfield area throughout week five of the holiday programme. Each day the sport and play team will be teaming up to provide a huge range of sports and play activities such as; the earth ball, rounders, football, cricket, frisbee and much more.
